Heated Massage or Ice Massage
Thermal inclusions with Massage Therapy host a range of benefits for sore, painful or stiff muscles, to post-injury recovery assistance!
Heat & Cold both play integral roles as they can induce vasoconstriction and vasodilation, to improve circulation!
Heat is a great inclusion to loosen soft tissue for easier tissue manipulation and potentially faster relief, while also providing a comforting touch,
Cold is equally impressive with its range of benefits post injury, to assist with reduction of inflammation and induce faster recovery times!
COMPLEMENTARY with the Luxury Massage Option!
Heat Packs are warmed in the portable warmer to a temperature of 135*, and perfectly glides atop the linens to provide an all encompassing warming massage. Coupled with the Luxury Table Warmer, this add-on brings in the warmth! Covering more area of the body than hot stones and heated bamboo, but with less direct pinpoint focus potential, this add on allows for a more warming massage with added comfort and complimentary with our Luxury Massage.
Cold Packs are used to ice soft tissue for comfort, or post-injury in conjunction with heat packs. An ice massage has many benefits by constricting blood flow, then warming tissue to dilate the blood vessels, and repeating the process to assist in your post-op/injury healing process through vasodilation, and vasoconstriction.
